my life is not what i thought it would be, vol. 2

Friday: our church service gets cut short because the tent we meet under almost caught on fire.

Saturday: went to go bowling with a friend, and on the way in saw a man 'washing' the windows by drinking water then spitting it onto the window to clean it off. Once inside, we get told there's a hour wait for the lanes to open up so we go downstairs to see if the ping pong or pool tables were available. There is some seriously intense ping pong action going on in the normally almost empty room. We get approached by a guy asking if we want to play, but we say, "No, thanks." He then goes on to tell us he is not only the head coach for the National Table Tennis Team for Morocco, but for the entire continent of Africa as well. We passed up the chance for a lesson from a pro! Dern.


Sunday: friends visit from another country so we take them to the pyramids. My friend convinces the guard to let us climb down into one of the smaller ones for free. Later, we talk/argue in Arabic trying to get one of their lost ATM cards out of the machine that ate it.

Monday: sit in a room with 20 new brothers and sisters and talk about how JC is our high priest and that we can place all of our faith in Him.
