Wow. This is intense!
Egypt is playing Algeria tonight for a chance to play in the World Cup next year. My street has been filled with horn-honking, flag-flying cars all day long and the soccer game doesn't even start for another 2 hours. The stadium is only a few miles from my house. With each passing hour, the horn honking gets louder and more intense and now there are fireworks going off and drummers in the streets. Some friends of mine are going to the game later and I am a little jealous. I love soccer and the atmosphere is electric tonight!
I really hope the home team wins! Yalla Masr!
